Plant Muskies in Otter Tail County Lakes?
On Thursday, 10/29,2015, a public meeting was held in Fergus Falls to discuss the
DNR’s plan to plant muskies in Otter Tail County lakes. This plan has been in the
proposal stage for more than two years. Lake associations representing lakes
proposed as candidates for muskies have unanimously voted against the DNR plan.
The voice supporting muskies is small in number but well organized and politically
active. Your lake association can be heard both directly to the DNR and through
the Otter Tail County COLA.
Additional articles will be added when available.
